Rush rewards the prepared.
We make sure she is.

A modern preparation experience built by a performance psychologist and her college-age daughter, designed to give every young woman serious preparation, without the serious price tag.

Recruitment asks more than most families expect

Recruitment moves fast and it asks a lot. Days of back-to-back conversations in the heat, round after round of being met and measured, decisions made about her before she has caught her breath. Most families walk into all of it with a folder of forwarded texts, a rec letter from a family friend, and the quiet hope that things work out. Hope is not nothing, it is just not a plan.

The families who can spend several thousand dollars on a private coach get something closer to a plan, which is exactly why that option exists and exactly why so few can reach it. My Bid Day was built for everyone in between, the families taking this seriously who want real preparation behind their daughter without a consultant's price tag. She still does the work, but she walks in knowing exactly what that work is.

How My Bid Day Started

It started with texts and calls. Friends at other schools were going through recruitment, and during their prep they came to me, looking for someone their own age who would actually think it through with them. We talked through the conversations, the nerves, and the parts nobody had warned them about. After each call I would bring what I had learned to my mom, and together we would work through it until I had something that genuinely helped. School after school, formal and informal rounds, the same pattern kept repeating, and we realized we were quietly building something worth sharing.

Maya

When Maya called, I recognized the problem immediately, because I had spent my whole career on it. As a performance psychologist I help athletes, executives, and performers get ready for the moments that count, and I wrote the book Moment Ready on exactly that. Recruitment is a performance environment by every definition I know: high stakes, time-compressed, judged, and physically demanding. That lens is what neither the expensive consultants nor the cheap online courses bring to it. So we built the thing we had been doing for free, and we built it well, so any young woman can walk in ready for the bid day she deserves.
